After the first wizard-of-oz test conducted in November 2017 had already led to valuable insights, we conducted a second wizard-of-oz test on the 22^nd of January 2018. This time, one welder simulated the newly designed interface while five others performed predefined welding tasks. We again evaluated user experience, task load and the participants’ individual impressions but also the time needed to complete the tasks. Besides video and audio recordings, we used the standardized tools UEQ and NASA TLX as well as an additional open questionnaire. The results were not only used for the first evaluation of the interface but also as baseline for later comparison with the functional prototypes.
